OH LA LA FERIA INDEPENDENT DESIGNERS

Making Off Planners proposed to organize an exhibition of independent designers open to the public, where various exhibitors will participate personally selected.
The aim is to bring together in one day, different designers ventures covering various items (jewelry, clothing, decorative items, footwear, leather goods, fragrances, etc.), giving them the possibility of marketing their products in a personalized way .
Dates and times:
The fair will take place on Sunday 27 month FEBRUARY, Sunday 6, 13 and 20 March 13:00 to 19:00 Hs
Held
Divine Bar Located in Defense 683, on the pedestrian San Telmo, Calle super busy tourists and local public in general.
The bar has 2 floors, one will be used solely as a restaurant open to the public, mostly abroad, and the ground floor will be 100% for the fair.
Diffusion and advertising:
The organizers believe that is one of the most important items of the project, therefore, focus 100% on the promotion of the event because they believe that without a good call the result would not be desired.
Media:
Internet (we have a company that takes care of mailings to more than 2,500 boxes, facebook, blog, various web sites), we have the promotion made the Bar "La Divina", Developers at different points in the area handing out flyers (this takes place days before the event and during the year), posters in streets, in local shops, hostels (remember that we are in San Telmo, 100% tourist area) and in newspapers and magazines.
Exhibitors are invited to participate in the promotion of the event on every page they know, calling on the public through their profiles and mailings.
Exhibitors:

The story begins maso less so. We told the idea to friends who were already participating in fairs (Guille and Vani who are always going to be grateful for such collaboration at the beginning of our history) and together we set putting together the first show. among acquaintances and friends who were interested in the project we put together 12 exhibitors, the garage we began to get a little boy and get to the fair in a room that we paid the union of the court where my wife works. We played an afternoon of torrential rain but the turnout was very good and we were left wanting more .... fairs

early 2010 began to build what would be the second show with a call for exhibitors most important (they were more than 30) and organizational work much more organized. The 2 nd edition of the show was done in the salon Avanti Bernal multiple events with a great crowd of people although the room was not in the city center. This fair started to generate a unique feature in the design fairs in the area, which was to give to each visitor a present (in this case was a pen with the logo of the fair). This generates very good impression to visitors so we decided to have him present at each fair we organize. gifts that during 2010 we were doing were pens, stickers, Pins and T-shirts, always with the logo of Space New Trends, in order to generate a differential image of our brand. Another feature of our show was to take data every visitor to the fair in order to invite them via mail to the next editions.

These data generated a very important contact base that was growing fair after fair.

During 2010 by our fairs spent more than 1,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors giving us a great satisfaction and fills us with pride. But our goal was for more and decided to create this blog with the intention of generating a comprehensive and disseminate independent design fairs buenos aires design. This blog has over 10,000 visits and over 300 publications fairs all over Buenos Aires and the interior of the country.

After the second edition began organizing the fair in the Jerome Bar Quilmes in the center of which were well accepted both visitors and exhibitors.

But the good does not last forever. When we decided to make the fair last year to put a finishing touch to the 2010 municipal problem is generated by the excessive number of fairs that were organized for Christmas in different clubs in Quilmes Center and had to cancel the fair.

No doubt the feeling of helplessness that we feel is great for not having done the show after both previous work, but on the other hand we believe that design fairs began to become something very common, organized by any opportunistic aside details that are super important to the success of them.
